AI in Breast Cancer Screening: The Future is Now

7 April 2021 | 19:00 – 20:00 (GST)

Having appointed the world’s first state minister for artificial intelligence (AI), the UAE is fast becoming a global leader in AI adoption.
The panelists will explore some of the questions this rapid acceleration of AI adoption poses for healthcare providers. Questions such as: How are the region’s governments supporting safe and efficient adoption? What does this accelerated adoption mean for healthcare providers? And how can safe adoption of AI benefit imaging departments as they strive to deliver on the goals of the national breast screening programmes?

This session will also showcase an example of what the future of breast cancer screening could look like with the adoption of MiaTM, Kheiron’s AI solution that supports radiologists in making the most important breast screening decision — Should this woman be called back for further testing?
